The incident took place at Yaffo street, near the entrance to the bus station. Two of the three injured people were taken to a hospital; they were at a local shop not far from the station when the 17-year-old man entered the shop and lunged at people with the knife.
A fighter of the border police who stood nearby opened fire, injuring the attacker. A combat engineer checked him for hidden explosives, and then the knife wielder was taken to the hospital.
The attacker came from Hebron city in Jerusalem.

"Attack on the Consulate General of Ukraine in St. Petersburg. The attacker inflicted two stab wounds on the duty officer.
