Ukrainian Security Service fined Kharkiv entrepreneurs for distribution of Russian books

In Kharkiv, the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine along with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) fined four entrepreneurs for the illegal distribution of the books from Russia without authorization documents after the checks as the press service of the committee reported.

The entrepreneurs were fined for $1,300.

The books that were illegally distributed without authorization documents were removed from circulation.

Totally, as at October 10, the officials of the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting drafted 21 protocols on the imposition of the administrative and economic fines. The total sum of the sanctions is almost $28,000. The illegally imported products were removed from circulation.

As it was reported earlier, the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine has extended the list of books not recommended for import in Ukraine. Two Russian books were included to the list. In addition, two outlets from the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and four released in Ukraine were included to the list.

Earlier the State Committee for television and radio broadcasting of Ukraine has submitted the draft project of the order of the Cabinet of Ministers that offers to impose the sanctions against the Russian publishers who make and distribute the anti-Ukrainian products for the consideration of the government.
