Today, checkpoints of entry and exit Kalanchak and Chonhar, which are located on the Crimean border, have returned to work. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy on his Facebook page.
"The 15 structures at Chonhar checkpoint have been built in record time - two months, they have autonomous power supply and drainage systems. Finishing works in service areas are being completed," Krykliy wrote.
Minister stated that new comfortable checkpoints for the citizens at the administrative border with occupied Crimea will allow displaying the care and desire to return them back to Ukraine.
As we reported Russian border guards in annexed Crimea closed checkpoint Armyansk at the administrative border with the Kherson region.
Ukraine's State Border Guard warned the citizens that Kalanchak checkpoint would be closed for repair works from November 7 till November 15.
The citizens would not be able to cross Kalanchak checkpoint on November 7-15; the State Border Guard recommended to use Chaplynka and Chongar, the other checkpoints on the administrative border with the illegally annexed Crimea.
