U.S. pharmaceutical company Johnson&Johnson will supply its vaccine from Covid-19 to European countries, with the label warning the patients of possible side effects, namely thrombosis. Reuters reported that on Wednesday.
The message says that the company decided to mark their vaccine after EMA experts recognized that there is connection between the drug and the blood clotting in bodies of the vaccinated people.
"It's an extremely rare event. We hope by making people aware as well as putting clear diagnostic and therapeutic guidance in place that we can restore the confidence in our vaccine," the news agency cited J&J Chief Scientific Officer Paul Stoffels.
The new package of the vaccine against coronavirus will include the warning of possible thrombosis as consequence of the use, as well as instructions how to detect and treat this disease.
