Jamala becomes UN Goodwill Ambassador on fight against human trafficking

Ukrainian singer and winner of the Eurovision-2016 Jamala became the International Organization for Migration Goodwill Ambassador. It is reported at the UN website.

According to information, Jamala will take part in the information campaign on the fight against the modern form of the slavery. It is expected that she will act in the social video on this topic.

The activity of the International Organization for Migration aims to regulate the humanitarian governance of the migration, solution of migration issues and humanitarian aid for the migrants, including the refugees and internally displaced persons, medical aid and defense of the refugees' rights, consideration of the gender aspects.

The organization includes 155 countries and 11 of them possess the status of the observers.
