From June 28, the obligatory wearing of masks at the streets will be abolished in Italy as Health Minister Roberto Speranza reported on Facebook.

“From June 28, we will cancel the obligation to wear facial masks outdoors in the “white” zone but with the observation of the measures of rates established by the CTS,” the message says.

The decision will come into force from the next Monday, when the “white” quarantine zone is introduced all over the country. In all regions, curfew will be canceled, while bars and restaurants will work without restrictions. The social distance and obligatory wearing of masks in public places will remain.

The mitigation of the restrictions is tied with the significant decrease of cases of infection and hospitalizations in the country. Thus, during the past 24 hours, 484 new cases of infection were spotted; 21 cases are lethal. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4.25 million infection cases were registered; 127,000 people died.

As we reported, the curfew will be lifted in Georgia on July 1. The authorities will allow residents to go outside at night.  It should be noted that the restriction has been put in Georgia since November 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. Violators are fined for about $630.
