Ukraine's Foreign Ministry reminded football supporters that Italy is closed for Ukrainian tourists due to coronavirus-related restrictions. This is mentioned in the statement on the Ministry's Facebook page.
"On June 3, Rome will host the game of Euro 2020 between the national teams of Ukraine and England. We are confident that many of you would like to support our team but we urge you to pay attention to the actual rules of entrance in Italy for citizens of Ukraine", the authority reports.
Currently, Ukrainian citizens cannot travel to Italy as tourists; they are only allowed to go there for work, education or treatment.
"Regardless of the purpose of the visit, you need to undergo 10-days-long self-isolation. In order not to get into unpleasant situations, first check the actual modes of entry and transit in every country of the world on our interactive map", Foreign Ministry added.
Ukraine's national team will play against England at Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The kick-off time is July 3, 10 p.m. (Kyiv time).
