The negotiations with Ryanair can be restored in a month as soon as we solve the problem with the management of Boryspil airport. The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan claimed this at the airing of 112 Ukraine.

‘I am sure that as soon as the problem with the management of Boryspil airport will be solved we can renew the negotiations. During the talks, Ryanair clearly stated that they are interested in two key points in their opinion Lviv and Boryspil. This way we do not have the space for the attraction of other regional airports. In the fact, it is two quality takeoff strips for the whole Ukraine. We have to reconstruct other takeoff strips’, he said.

Omelyan also noted that it is senseless to risk and begin the negotiations with the acting management of the Boryspil airport.

Ryanair canceled the planned entry into the Ukrainian market on July 10. The company noted that Boryspil took the side of the airlines with the high tariffs, including the International Airlines of Ukraine and deprived the Ukrainians of the access to the cheap air tickets.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan will introduce the submission on dismissing of the director of the Boryspil airport Pavlo Ryabikin for the consideration of the Parliament.

The Director General of Boryspil Pavlo Ryabikin airport accused Ryanair in the political pressure to sign the contract. According to him, Boryspil can meet with losses in the sum of 77 million of dollars in the result of Ryanair's ultimatum.
