A citizen of Israel was detained by the customs office workers of Zaporizhya airport (southeastern Ukraine), while checking in for his flight to Tel Aviv. He carried about 40 valuable items with him, but had no proper documents for moving the items across the Ukrainian border.
The press department of the State Fiscal Service in Zaporizhya region reported that on Friday, June 2. According to the customs office, the workers stopped the man who had just completed the green corridor procedure at the airport’s customs office. The passenger had 20 ancient coins, 10 medals and 9 orders in his hand luggage.
As the man could not provide any licenses, permissions or any relevant documentation, the items have been temporarily seized from him.
