The Israeli Ministry of Health has advised citizens, including those vaccinated or recovered, to avoid unnecessary travel to countries where the incidence is particularly high. Among such countries is Ukraine. It is reported by The Jerusalem Post.
“The situation in the world is such that we highly recommend not to travel abroad if you do not have to. At the same time, the Health Ministry identified seven countries where there is a very high morbidity and a good chance of getting infected or catching variants. We recommend as much as possible not to travel to these countries. Just don’t go,” the ministry’s Director-General Chezy Levy said.
The seven countries where the morbidity rate is especially high are: India, Ukraine, Brazil, Ethiopia, South Africa, Mexico and Turkey.
Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 12,711 new cases of Covid-19, including 532 children and 230 healthcare workers.
3,508 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 392 patients deceased, and 13,687 recovered. 92,136 tests have been taken.
Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in in Dnipropetrovsk (1,268), Kyiv city (1,027), Kharkiv (964), Odesa (841) and Kyiv (815) regions.
