Israel to vaccinate people over 60 with third dose of vaccine

Israeli doctors will start giving people aged over 60 years the third dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine. The Healthcare Ministry reported that as quoted by Newsru.co.il

The campaign will begin on August 1.

Prior to this, Israeli epidemiologists gathered on a meeting to discuss whether the patients should be getting the third dose of the vaccine. After that, they decided to recommend giving the third dose to patients aged over 60. The experts only argued about the age - from 60 or 70 years old. 

More than 57 percent of Israeli citizens (5.3 million people) have already received two doses of vaccine.

Ukrainians will be inoculated with the third dose of Pfizer vaccine, as long as the WHO provides respective recommendations. Viktor Lyashko, Ukraine's Healthcare Minister reported that at the all-Ukraine forum "Ukraine 30. Decentralization". 

According to Lyashko, Ukraine considers the opportunity of injection of the third dose of the Pfizer vaccine - on the respective advice of the WHO. He also added that the Cabinet is going to purchase extra doses to repeat the vaccination course, if necessary.
