Israel discusses with the Russian Federation the possibility of the mutual recognition of the certificates on the vaccination from coronavirus, as TASS reported citing Director of Tourism Ministry of Israel in Russian and the CIS Vladimir Shklyar.

“For Israel, the guests from Russia are very important. That is why, undoubtedly, when the talks are held on the recognition of the certificates, the issue is about Russia…We are at the active stage of talks on mutual recognition of the certificates on the vaccination,” he said.

Besides, Shklyar stated that as of today, he would like not to ‘make loud statements’ about the certificates of what countries would be recognized by Israel.

It is noted that the vaccination in Israel is held by Pfizer drug. As of today, over 9.3 million people received the vaccination from Covid-19. 4 million people have already received the second dose.

Meanwhile, in the Russian Federation, 3.5 million people received both doses of the Sputnik V vaccine.

On March 7, the new mitigations of quarantine came into force in Israel. The cafes and restaurants might be opened with the observation of particular conditions. Only owners of ‘green passports’ might be served; in other words, people who have already received two shots of coronavirus vaccine at least a week ago or people who recovered from Covid-19. Other people are allowed to stay outside. The ‘green passports’ were introduced in Israel two weeks ago. Moreover, the work of the conference halls and food establishments at the hotels is allowed; the stadiums might host up to 1,500 visitors. Besides, the government mitigated the tourism.

On March 8, foreign citizens were allowed to enter Israel. However, the arrival is tied with the special procedure and needs preliminary approval. The new regime is established until March 27, 2021. Later, it might be corrected. At this stage until the arrival to Israel, it is necessary to fill an application that would be considered by the special commission of the Interior or Foreign Ministry of Israel. The boarding on the plane is now allowed without these permissions.
