Results on Allocetra show all but two of 21 patients given the drug were discharged from hospitals six days after the trial, on average. No deaths were recorded.
Covid patients in the US spent 4.6 days on wards before being discharged in September, according to New York-based healthcare company FAIR Health.
"I stopped coughing, my breathing started to come back, I was feeling better. I stopped sweating. I couldn't believe it. Two days ago I couldn’t stand on my legs. Look at me now, going home," one of the patients said.

As we reported earlier, Chinese authorities refused to provide World Health Organization investigators with raw, personalized data on early Covid-19 cases that could help them determine how and when the coronavirus first began to spread in China.
The authorities turned down requests to provide such data on 174 cases of Covid-19 that they have identified from the early phase of the outbreak in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019.
