ISIS took responsibility for the attacks on the churches in Egypt. This is reported by Haaretz, referring to the data of the Amaq agency which is close to the terrorists.

As a result of today's attacks on the Coptic churches in Egypt, at least 36 people were killed, more than 100 were injured.

The first attack occurred in Tanta, in a city in the Nile Delta, 100 km from Cairo. At least 25 people were killed there, about 70 were injured. According to some reports, the number of wounded in Tanta is 78.

The second attack occurred in Alexandria. As reported in the Ministry of Health of Egypt, in Alexandria 11 people were killed, including three policemen. 35 people were wounded.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, no Ukrainian citizens were injured or killed as a result of the attack in Tanta, there are no data on the injured Ukrainians in Alexandria. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has already condemned the terrorist attacks in Egypt, noting that Ukraine stands "shoulder to shoulder with the Egyptian people in the fight against terror."
