The Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack happened at night of June 4 in London. This was reported on Sunday by Reuters.

"A detachment of Islamic State fighters executed yesterday's London attack," - said in a statement published on the Amaq media page.

This was the third militant attack in the UK in less than three months, the agency said.

We recall, the number of victims of the terrorist attack in London on June 4 increased to 7, 48 people injured. The first attack occurred on the London Bridge around 22.00 local time. The white van hit a pedestrian at high speed. At once it became known about two dead and five injured. The bridge was blocked from both sides, the police began evacuating people.

After the attack on pedestrians on the bridge, the van headed towards the Boro market. There the terrorists left the van and attacked passers-by. Eyewitnesses also informed about the intense shooting and that one of the attackers armed with knife ran into the restaurant and made a massacre there.
