The Islamic State terrorist group took responsibility for the attack in Melbourne, Australia. Amaq, the terrorists-controlled news agency claimed this, SITE Intelligence Group reported.
It is reported that Amaq called the man who attacked the knifeman an ISIS fighter.
ABC Australia outlet referred to law enforcement officers and specified that the attacker was wounded by the policemen during detention and died at the hospital. It is specified that the 31-year-old militant and his family have already been under the supervision of the Victoria State Police and federal intelligence agencies.
Reportedly, on November 9, the unknown used a knife to attack the passers-by in Melbourne, Australia. As a result of the assault, one man died, two more were injured.
