The Investigative Committee of Belarus is checking complaints from citizens about the actions of law enforcement officers during the protests. The press service of the Investigative Committee reports.

"As of today, the investigating authorities have received 124 statements and reports of violent actions of protesters against law enforcement officers, destruction and damage to property (official vehicles, urban infrastructure)," the message says.

In turn, more than 600 citizens filed applications for bodily harm during detention by law enforcement officers, about 100 more people - about being injured in places of temporary detention.

To establish the severity of injuries, investigators assign the necessary expert studies.

As we reported before, on Sunday, August 16, during a rally in his support, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko repeated the call that ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych had made before fleeing to Russia.

“I remind you, you can't repeat it. Stop! Don't kill your future, the future of your children,” Lukashenka called at the rally.
