A terrorist organization supplied coal from "nationalized" mines in occupied Donbas to Ukraine and EU countries. Coal was imported to Russia according to forged documents, the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine reports.
"The Security Service of Ukraine has blocked the assistance of the terrorist organization - the so-called Donetsk People's Republic - in the illegal supply of coal to our country and EU countries," the statement said.
Thus, operatives and investigators of the special services established that the illegal mechanism had been organized by the owner of the Donetsk concentrators of the Energoimpex group of companies. Under an agreement with the leaders of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, its structures "helped" the militants with sorting and enrichment of coal that was mined in the "nationalized" mines.
The organizers prepared fake documents about the products’ origin.
As we reported earlier, Head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Leonid Kravchuk stated that the Joint Action Plan, prepared by the Ukrainian side, contained a proposal on the full and complete cessation of the conflict in Donbas and the demilitarization of certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in early 2021.
