Road traffic in Kyiv will be somewhat limited in the Ukrainian capital - due to Independence Day parade rehearsal that is slated on August 20. The city hall's press service reported this on Monday.
The local administration pointed out that on August 20 and August 22-24, the parking lots in the defined areas - Lesi Ukrainky Boulevard, Volodymyrsky passage, Bohdana Khremlnytskoho street and many others - will be closed.
Changes in the schedule of the municipal transport are made, with regards to the route of the parade rehearsal.
Public transport will be working two hours longer than usual on Independence Day.
Two central underground stations will be shut off for the entire period of festive events timed to the Independence Day, which is celebrated in Ukraine on August 24.
