At Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv there was a skirmish between the members of "hemp march", who advocate the decriminalization of soft drugs, and representatives of the Svoboda political party. It is reported by the National Police press service.
"Today, at Mykhailivska Square, under the orders of the Kyiv city state administration, two actions might take place. As a result of a conflict between the parties, which escalated into a brawl in the situation immediately intervened the police patrol, and therefore stopped the fight..", - Said in a statement.
It is noted that three active participants of the incident, and the man who had pyrotechnic products (firecrackers, smoke bombs and grenades), were taken to the police department of Shevchenkivsky district.
Svoboda party stated that detention took place with violations. According to the press service of the organization, among those detained by the police were Darnitskiy district chairman of the organization Vladimir Bohnyak and his assistant Oles Olejnik.
"To the Mikhailivska Square came a group of people who angered by the march of persons advocating the legalization of drugs, particularly marijuana. There was a fight, and law enforcement officers instead to stop the illegal actions of drugs supporters used against us strength, even though we have helped restore law and order." - Complained Bohnyak.
