Covid-19 in Kyiv: 63 new cases observed; three people died

During the past 24 hours, on July 6, 63 cases of coronavirus infection registered in Kyiv. Totally, since the beginning of the pandemic, 5,665 Covid-19 cases were observed as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.

Three people died from the coronavirus.

Thus, 30 women at the age of 19 up to 71, 28 men at the age of 21 up to 77, five children: four girls at the age of three up to 17 and a three-year-old boy are infected.

Six people were hospitalized; while others stay in self-isolation under control of the doctors. Besides, four medics are infected with the virus.

According to Klitschko, 39 people recovered in 24 hours. Totally, 1,848 Kyiv citizens overcame the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.

The majority of the cases were registered in Shevchenkivsky district – 15.

As of the morning of July 7, 49,607 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine, 564 of them have been observed over the last 24 hours.

1,283 people have died as a result of complications caused by the disease. 22,193 patients, however, have already recovered.
