In 2016-2017, Ukrainian army put in service over 30 new weapons and vehicles

Since January 2016, Ukraine’s ministry of defense has put into service 33 kinds of weaponry and vehicles. Dmytro Hutsulyak, the ministry’s press secretary said that as quoted by UNN news agency.

According to him, the army adopted light shoulder-held rocket Corsair (see photo), Vulcan machineguns, the 30 mm automatic cannon, armored medical evacuation carriers, maintenance-recovery vehicle, Kozak-2 armored car, Mi-2 MSB helicopter, minor armored artillery boat and many other kinds of vehicles and weaponry.  

Hutsulyak added that since early 2017, the army received about 700 units of new and modernized weapons and military vehicles.
