On Paton Bridge in Kyiv activists formed a human chain to the 98th anniversary of signing Unification Act by the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic, reported the 112 Ukraine correspondent.

According to his words, participants of the action on the right and left banks of the Dnipro River formed the two columns that symbolize WUPR and UPR, and then joined together. Also they carried the flag of yellow and blue colors 30 meters in length.

It should be noted, after the unification of columns activists with candles held a minute of silence in memory of those who died at Maidan, and in ATO.

We remind, on January 22, Ukraine celebrates Unity Day. It was also planned today to hold solemn celebration in the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko in Kyiv with the participation of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
