Co-founder of the company Nuclear Energy Systems of Ukraine (NESU), co-owner of ATB supermarkets chain Hennadiy Butkevych stated about his readiness to raise funds equaled to $1,000,000,000 to the exploitation of uranium resources in Ukraine. He said this during the exclusive interview to Censor.Net edition.

“We are holding negotiations with foreign investors and governments interested in energy development. Firstly we intend to drop off about $1,000,000,000 of investments to Ukraine aiming at developing of extraction of commercial minerals, the building of mountain-concentrating combines, etc. We are building a vertically integrated company,” Hennadiy Butkevych said.

According to him, the Federal Register of Natural Resources should be created.

“What is true independence? It is financial independence. Let’s understand one thing for this – how much do we cost? Let’s carry out an audit! There's no need to invent new methods, let's do like Australia. If we want to be an independent country, we should make an inventory of natural resources and include them on the company’s books. Thus, we raise the credit rating of the country,” the businessman ensures.

According to the Co-founder of the NESU, $300,000,000 of investments may appear in Ukraine soon. “I think we will drop $1,000,000,000 off within 3 years. $2,000,000,000 will be within five years. We are not going to ask for help the state government. Just do not bother us,” Butkevych says.
