In the area of Tarasenkove village, Orzhitsky district, Poltava region, a helicopter "Robinson - 44" crashed, resulting in the death of one person. This was reported on the website of the State Emergency Service (SES).
"On October 21, at 4 p.m., the State Emergency Service reported an aircraft crash (proximately - self-made). Upon its arrival, it was stated that the crash of a helicopter “Robinson – 44” resulted in the death of one person. The helicopter was flying from Kyiv to Poltava region," the message informs.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been reported.
The State Emergency Situations Agency has involved four people and one unit of equipment.
As we reported earlier, National Police in Lviv region opened the criminal proceeding due to the emergency landing of An-12 aircraft, which occurred 1.5 km from the airstrip of Lviv International Airport. It led to the deaths of five people; three persons were hospitalized in serious condition as the police reported.
“Preliminary, it is established that in the result of the emergency landing of An-12, five people died, and another three were hospitalized with bodily injuries. The law enforcers identify the deceased and affected and establish the circumstances of the incident. The criminal proceeding is opened due to the violation of the safety rules of movement or exploitation of railway, water or air transport,” the message said.
