Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov offers to drop the adaptive quarantine in Ukraine and to impose a total lockdown in this country. He said so during the government session.

"We propose to refuse from adaptive quarantine and to impose quarantine with restrictions in the orange zone over the entire territory of Ukraine", he said.

The orange quarantine zone foresees that hostels and tourist camps would stop working. Restrictions also concern gyms, fitness centers. museums, galleries, and concert halls, as well as entertainment centers and restaurants.

The vaccine from coronavirus will be massively supplied worldwide, including Ukraine, in late spring or early summer 2021. Serhiy Lytovka, the leader of the Healthcare Ministry's expert group for immunological prophylaxis said so in a commentary for Suspilne news agency.

"By the most optimistic estimates of the WHO, the vaccine could be massively supplied to other countries in May or June 2021", Lytovka said.

As is known, Pfizer and BioNTech's candidate vaccine showed 90-percent effectiveness in interim results of Phase 3 of clinical tests. The approved vaccine could appear already this month.
