Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko is not confident about the introduction of a lockdown in the country in November. According to him, the toughening of quarantine norms will much depend on the epidemic background in every specific region. He said so on air of Ukraine 24 TV channel.

Besides, the minister commented on the information about certain media announcing the lockdown in late November on his behalf.

"I never said that the lockdown would be introduced in November. I repeat: we're working based on the indicators that were defined in the decree No.1236, the one about the adaptive quarantine. The document defines indicators of when, where and which levels of epidemic hazard may be introduced", Lyashko said.
