The question of abolishing the mask regime in the country can be raised only after the absolute majority of the population of Ukraine has been vaccinated against coronavirus. This was stated by Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko in an interview with Radio Liberty.

“We have a small enough number of vaccinated citizens for us to neglect the anti-epidemic rules. Therefore, let's catch up with vaccination to 70-80 percent, then we will sit down and together make decisions whether we can already get rid of the masks on our face or not," Lyashko said.

Lyashko also clarified that masks should be worn by everyone, including those vaccinated with two doses.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, 900 mobile teams will monitor compliance with quarantine.

"A meeting was held, which was attended by all regulatory authorities, in particular the National Police, the State Consumer Service. The chief state sanitary doctors of both Ukraine and the regions were involved. 900 mobile brigades have been created, which will now monitor compliance with quarantine by raid checks," Lyashko said.

Lyashko added that the raid brigades will identify violators and bring them to justice. They will conduct "explanatory work" with violators; administrative liability will also be provided.
