The information on five confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine is incorrect. This was stated in the message on the Facebook page of the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"The information on five confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus in Ukraine contradicts the reality," the statement said.
On February 11, Ukraine's Minister of Health Zoriana Skaletska reported that the Ministry was checking the condition of five Ukrainians: three of them returned from China and sought medical help, and two were in contact with them.
As we reported earlier, mass protests against the placement of Ukrainians, who were evacuated from the Chinese city of Wuhan, have begun in the Poltava region. The spokesman of National Police of the Poltava region Yurii Sulaiev informed about it in the comment to the 112 Ukraine TV Channel.
At this moment, the protests are going on. Law enforcement officers are talking to protesters, local authorities are also communicating with people.
Meanwhile, the plane with the citizens of Ukraine and foreigners evacuated from China aboard landed in Kharkiv.
