The Ministry of Health intends to extend the adaptive quarantine in Ukraine. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

According to him, the Ministry of Health is working on different scenarios for quarantine extension and further anti-epidemiological measures.

"Today, the Ministry of Health is working on different scenarios for extending the adaptive quarantine. I will not make any announcements, because in fact, different options are being worked out. Yesterday there were conversations with French and German epidemiologists. We are looking for best practices," Shmygal said.

Prime Minister also noted that most likely, the basis for further anti-epidemiological measures will be adaptive quarantine, and according to which scenario, the authorities will present in the near future at a government meeting.

As we reported earlier, the Ministry of Health asks Ukrainian government to strengthen quarantine restrictions due to the increase in Covid-19 cases. 

Also,Ukraine's Health Ministry does not rule out that it will propose to introduce strengthened quarantine for the weekends.
