In Ukraine, residual doses of vaccines will no longer be used for the vaccination of public personas, so their data provided for a vaccination with residual doses have been destroyed according to the law. The press service of the Ministry of Healthcare reported this.
"According to the order of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine № 745 as of April 16, 2021, on amendments to the Roadmap for vaccination against Covid-19, residual doses of vaccines can no longer be used for vaccination of public figures. Therefore, guided by the Law of Ukraine № 2297-VI "On Personal Data Protection" as of June 1, 2010, the health departments of the regions and Kyiv city destroyed the personal data of public figures," the statement reads.
The Ministry of Healthcare reminded that on March 11, priority risk groups for the next stage of vaccination were allowed to be vaccinated with residual doses of the vaccine. If it was not possible to vaccinate members of certain groups from the next stage, it was recommended to involve public figures and public figures in the vaccination to promote vaccination.
New changes in the Roadmap no longer provide for such an opportunity. Now, only those identified in the first and second stages of vaccination can be involved in residual vaccinations to avoid the disposal of the remainder of the coronavirus vaccine.
Earlier, Maksym Stepanov, the Healthcare Minister said the Covid-certificates, which include the data on vaccination of patients are supposed to be launched in Ukraine by July 1.
