Head of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deineko was hospitalized with high fever; he was suspected of being infected with coronavirus, as Strana outlet reported.
Deineko was hospitalized with symptoms of coronavirus infection. He stays at the hospital of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The results of the test are unknown yet.
Deineko stated that there are no grounds to suspect him of being infected.
“Currently, there are no grounds to say that I have a suspicion for coronavirus, wait until the evening and the result of the test. If it is confirmed, I will comment on it on my own. Currently, my temperature is 36.3. Is it a high fever?” Deineko said.
As of the morning of Monday, May 4, the number of patients infected with Covid-19 in Ukraine makes 12,331. 418 new cases were observed on May 3. There are 303 lethal cases, and 1,619 patients recovered.
