A group of Hassidim made a pogrom on the grave of Rabbi Nachman in Uman, central Ukraine. Two most aggressive culprits will be deported from the country. Anton Herashchenko, the Deputy Interior Minister of Ukraine reported that on Thursday.

"Yesterday in Uman, a group of young pilgrims, Israeli citizens, made a havoc on the grave of Rabbi Nachman, destroying the fence that is supposed to keep the order in lines as people approach the holy site. The National Police and the Migration Service made the decision to deport two most aggressive Israeli citizens from Ukraine", he said.

The official added that if any foreign citizen gets involved in any such act of vandalism, he will be sent off, too.

Earlier, the Israeli government asked Ukraine to impose restrictions for Hassidim worshippers who are going to visit Uman for celebrations of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. The holiday is observed in October.
