The Security Service of Ukraine called the claim of Vladyslav Manger, the suspect in the organization of murder of Kherson official Kateryna Handziuk, that her murder was organized by General of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Danylo Dotsenko the absurd one. Olena Hitlianska, the spokeswoman of the SBU press-service, wrote this on Facebook.
“…The claim of Manger, who is justifiably suspected of organizing the murder of the activist Handziuk, was said during the court hearing on choosing the preventive measure for him. This claim evokes not just astonishment, but resentment as well. This accusation is absurd, groundless and defamatory,” the report said.
Hitlianska does not rule out the possibility that Manger just tried to level “that great amount of pieces of evidence that SBU found out against him” and to achieve passing the case to another law enforcement agency.
