“Freedom and peace are the basis for any nation. The monument Flame of Peace is a symbol of those eternal values, which is why its installation is the direct reminder that no matter where we are coming from, what country or even continent, we all want world peace. The materials of the monument harmonize with its idea: walnut wood and stone, which can be found anywhere in the world,” the organizers said.
During the ceremony in Kyiv for the first time a world-renown Ukrainian-Sweden pianist Natalia Pasechnyk is to perform with National Ensemble Kyivska Kamerata. The music of two Mozarts is to be played: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his son, Franz Xaver Mozart, who lived and created in Lviv for a long time.
