A monument the Flame of Peace funded by the Habsburg-Lothringen royal family is to be opened on Panasa Myrnoho street in Kyiv on August 6, as Tsensor.NET informs.

“Freedom and peace are the basis for any nation. The monument Flame of Peace is a symbol of those eternal values, which is why its installation is the direct reminder that no matter where we are coming from, what country or even continent, we all want world peace. The materials of the monument harmonize with its idea: walnut wood and stone, which can be found anywhere in the world,” the organizers said.
