A shooting incident took place in Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine, as the two drivers got into a fight over the parking place. The regional police department reported this on Facebook on Thursday.
It happened on Thursday morning in the downtown city. The reason for a fight was the way one of the drivers parked his car near the local hotel. The driver who protested took the license plate from his adversary's car and tried to escape in his own car.
The police mentioned that both drivers carried guns and respective licenses.
According to the local media, about 50 children were present at the scene during the incident. They were waiting for a bus, which would take them to a summer camp. The children saw the weapons, hear the shots, panicked and ran away in various directions; no one suffered any physical injuries.
The investigation into the incident is underway.
Earlier, a man opened fire from a traumatic gun at the playground in Mariupol, Donetsk region.
According to the message, the incident took place in the Central district of the city.
According to the law enforcers' information, the children played with the water pistols and the drunken man saw it from the window. According to him, he thought that adults who were with children aimed the real arms at the children and he hurried to save them.
'An intruder ran to the yard shouting and shot once in the air. The parents of the children began to calm the aggressor, attempting to seize the gun. Then man shot twice at 30-year-old father of one of the children', the message said.
The wounded was taken to the local hospital.
