Polish border guards and the Central Investigation Bureau of the Polish police took in 16 people; they are now suspected in illegal transportation of foreigners, RMF24 reports.

The law enforcers reported that the group managed to move 500 foreigners to Polish territory; among them were citizens of Pakistan, Syria, Algeria, Iraq, Egypt, Iran and India. When moved to Poland, these citizens underwent the legalization procedure. The criminals provided these people with documents that let them live and work in this country legally.
