Meanwhile, Lithuania intends to allocate 42 million euros to strengthen the border with Belarus. This was announced in an interview with Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland by the Lithuanian Ambassador to Germany Ramunas Misiulis.

According to him, the money will be used to build border fortifications and improve the surveillance system. The Lithuanian Ambassador to Germany said that he expects support from the European Union, since this is a "common problem" with the EU.
