In Greece, next week the government will impose additional restrictions on those who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced after a sharp increase in the number of infected with coronavirus in the last few weeks, Ekathimerini reports.

In particular, unvaccinated people will not be able to visit cinemas, museums, sports clubs, even if there is a negative Covid-19 test. At the same time, the head of government clarified that unvaccinated church parishioners are allowed to attend services if they test negative for coronavirus. According to the Prime Minister, the plan of the Cabinet of Ministers is to make "Christmas this year better than last year."

"Unvaccinated people will no longer be able to visit closed public places even if they have a negative test for coronavirus. Today, people without vaccination are not allowed to visit only restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs," said Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The vaccination certificate for vaccinated persons over the age of 60 expires seven months after the administration of the vaccine. Therefore, this age group will be given one month to revaccinate.
