Greece closes its border for the citizens of Serbia due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation as N1info reported citing Rasim Ljajić, the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
According to him, the ban for the entrance starts to act from 06:00 a.m., Monday, July 6. Greece made such a decision due to the epidemiological situation in Serbia and a large amount of the positive tests of the tourists from this country.
Meanwhile, the citizens of Serbia who stay in Greece may stay in the country as long as they planned to.
During the last week, the number of new coronavirus cases in Serbia significantly increased. On June 27, the daily gain of the diseased for the first time since the end of April exceeded 200 people. On July 2, 359 new cases were registered.
In Greece, during the last week, the maximal daily gain made 28 people.
As we reported, in Athens, 17 citizens of Ukraine, who flew to Greece from Kyiv, were detained at the airport control. Among the detainees there are children.
