President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian government has a clear plan of emerging of the country from quarantine imposed due to Covid-19.
“I support the decision of the Ukrainian government to extend the quarantine until May 11. It is a right step, which is based on the analytics of the National Academy of Sciences and the Health Ministry. We have a clear plan of emerging from quarantine. Soon, the prime minister will announce a more detailed scenario, consisting of five stages of emerging from quarantine,” the president noted.
Besides, Zelensky noted that the emerging of the country from quarantine will take with the presence of two key demands.
“The first one: during 10 days, the percentage of spotted infections does not change or stays within 5%. The second demand: the hospitals are filled with patients with Covid-19 less than for a half,” Zelensky concluded.
As we reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made a decision on the extension of the quarantine until May 11.
As we reported, 7,170 cases of infection with coronavirus spotted in Ukraine. 578 cases were registered in the past 24 hours.
