Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky said that the commission of inquiry had managed to establish the causes of the An-26 plane crash. This was announced by the official in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
"The commission has identified systemic violations in the organization of flights. We are speaking about the actions of the command of the Air Force in relation to the brigade where the tragedy took place," he stated.
It was also noted that the crash had had both the main causes and side effects. These are errors made by the pilots as well as technical malfunctions of the aircraft (the failure of the temperature control system).
As we reported earlier, on September 25, at about 20:50 near the military airport of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, a military aircraft AN-26 fell and caught fire.
Rescue work was carried out by 70 people of the State Emergency Situations Service. According to preliminary estimates of flight safety specialists, one of the sensors in the left engine of the aircraft failed.
On October 21, seven crew members of the flight posthumously received the Exemplary Service Badge.
