Money will be used to liquidate consequences of fire and help victims

The Cabinet of Ministers allocated $950,000 to eliminate the consequences of a fire in the Zhytomyr region. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal said this during a government meeting, as 112 Ukraine reported.

The money will be directed to help victims of the fires and to eliminate the consequences.

"We are keeping the situation under control, we are allocating additional funds for the State Emergencies Ministry, we have also allocated $950,000 to local authorities to eliminate the consequences and support people who suffered from fires. This is a matter of allocating assistance from state and local budgets," Denys Shmygal noted.

As we reported before, in the Chornobyl zone, National Guard stopped the attempt of a new arson of the forest and put out the fire.

Also, in the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, the extinguishing of individual fire centers continues, the radiation background in Kyiv is within the normal range and does not exceed natural background values
