In November 2019, Google acquired CloudSimple with an office in Kyiv. And in January 2020, employees of CloudSimple’s Kyiv office became employees of Google’s office in the capital of Ukraine.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine's government has officially launched a pilot to implement Google tools. The company provided the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with 1000 free accounts.

"We have officially launched a pilot to implement Google tools in the Cabinet of Ministers. We have agreed with Google that they give us 1000 free accounts. We are very grateful for that. First of all, I count on Google Docs and Spreadsheet. You don't even realize how much time public servants spend due to the fact that they can't just "share" the documents and work on them together. Instead, a lot of time is spent on the logistics of paperwork and pencils,” Dmytro Dubilet, the member of Ukraine's government, stated.
