Google analyzed the search queries of Ukrainians and named the most popular places for summer vacations - both domestic and foreign destinations, according to the Telegram channel Coronavirus in Numbers.
"As soon as the country began to loosen travel restrictions, the interest of Ukrainians in travel began to recover from the end of April by an average of 6% per week. In June, this interest increased by 46% compared to April and almost reached the pre-quarantine level," message.
This year, the most popular are recreations in Koblevo, Lazurne and Zatoka. Berdyansk and Odesa are also among the five popular destinations for recreation in Ukraine.
Also, searches for vacations in Turkey, Albania, Egypt, Bulgaria and Montenegro became the most popular in Ukraine in the second quarter of 2020.
Google notes that there is a growing trend in search queries related to agritourism (44% growth in June 2020 compared to June last year) and ecotourism (46% growth).
At the same time, the interest in last-minute tours has significantly decreased compared to the same period last year (minus 83%), as well as to sightseeing tours (minus 56%).
As we reported before, the Ministry of Health will divide Ukraine into four zones - "red", "orange", "yellow" and "green". This was announced during a government meeting.
