The global incidence of coronavirus has reached 49,835,847 cases. This is reported by Johns Hopkins University.

At the same time, 1,250,490 people died from this dangerous disease.

The USA ranks first in sad statistics, where coronavirus took the lives of 237,113 people, and 9,860,958 got infected.

Brazil ranks second in the anti-ranking for morbidity: 162,269 died here and 5,653,561 fell ill.

The third place among the countries most affected by the pandemic is occupied India with 126,121 deaths and 8,507,754 infected.

As we reported earlier, the Slovak government has decided to partially close the border with Ukraine due to the worsening epidemiological situation.

"The government of Slovakia has made additions to the conditions of entry into the territory of its state. Restrictions are introduced in connection with the complication of the epidemiological situation in the Slovak Republic and in Ukraine," State Border Service of Ukraine reports.

In particular, from 9:00 on November 9, the checkpoint Veеlké Slementse will be temporarily closed. Also, the registration of pedestrians at the Ublya checkpoint is temporarily suspended.

In addition, at the Vyšné Nemecké checkpoint (on the Ukrainian side - Uzhgorod), the passage of persons temporarily or permanently residing in the territory of Slovakia will be carried out from 08:00 to 20:00 (Kyiv time).
