Bogdan Corporation President and former first deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleg Gladkovsky left the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center in Kyiv, where he was in custody due to court’s order. It was reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
Gladkovsky left the pre-trial detention center around 3:20 p.m. on Monday after posting 423,405 dollars bail. His lawyer Ruslan Volynets said that his client continued a hunger strike and also informed that an electronic tag had been put on his client.
The agency notes that the former deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council evaded communication with media representatives and silently sat in a car waiting for him at the entrance to the pre-trial detention center, after which the car left.
Gladkovsky said only that he would defend his honor and dignity, Ukrainian Truth reports. At the same time, Volynets explained that his short-spoken communication with the press is resulting from bad feeling due to the hunger strike, which has been going on for the fifth day.
As we reported earlier, Former First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleh Gladkovsky tried to leave the country, but he was detained by employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
