Western partners are satisfied with the result of an international special operation to detain the cyber network Avalanche hackers, in which Ukraine also participated. This was stated in an interview with Ukrinform, by the first deputy prosecutor Dmytro Storozhuk.

"German law enforcers have offered us to create jointly with France and Great Britain an international investigation team that would work on an ongoing basis, rather than from case to case," Storozhuk said. According to the first deputy prosecutor, the western partners were satisfied with the result of an international special operation, in which Ukraine also participated.

Earlier, before the New Year, during an international special operation, hackers from the Avalanche cyber network were detained. But, since the judge refused to choose a measure of restraint in the form of detention to one of them - Gennady Kapkanov, he managed to escape.

According to the sources, he did not leave the country and is still in wanted list. Another participant of this organized criminal group is in jail in Kyiv. Nevertheless, the Western partners were satisfied with the result. "This was one of the few of our operations, in an active phase of which law enforcers from 26 countries participated," Storozhuk said.
