From February 1, the government of Georgia lifts all restrictions for regular international flights introduced due to the Covid-19 pandemic as News Georgia reported citing Economy Minister of Georgia Natela Turnava.
“It means that all air companies that worked or still work in Georgia or new companies that would like to enter Georgia might plan regular flights and fulfill them with a particular frequency,” Turnava said.
Meanwhile, she noted that the flights would be held ‘with the observation of all medical protocols and safety measures’.
Earlier, Israel has temporarily closed the international air traffic. The restriction starts working on late Monday and will be running for a week.
