Georgia opens its land borders on June 1, 2021. The citizens will be able to cross the border if they provide a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to the border crossing - or if they carry the full vaccination certificate and the negative PCR test. imedinews.ge reported that on May 25.

"At the same time, all visitors are recommended to carry the medical insurance, which also covers the expenses related to coronavirus", saud Giorgi Gibradze, the Head of Operative HQ for inter-authority coordination council for combating coronavirus.

The Georgian government lifted the restroction for completion of regular international flights that were imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
